The Leschi Lounge rocks. Last night we hosted a movie party to raise funds for our Theatre room. (Thanks all!) We have visions of outdoor movies being held in our backyard in the spring and summer. Halfway through the movie, our roomie Da Man pulled us aside. The place he was meant to play with his new friends in the band Plane Site was double booked at the venue downtown (a Huka joint!). Can they come jam at Leschi? Dude, totally. After our Double Feature, we headed downstairs to listen to an excellent jam session which included such instruments as Bass and Acoustic Guitars, harmonica, hand drums, vocals and a didgeridoo. This place is like frat house for musicians.
