The event will be held at Nikki Beach (an outdoor venue) and Pearl Ultra Lounge in the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV. They are programming 9 DJ acts which will run from 8pm to 6am. Its a mix of local Reno Djs and San Francisco based DJs. There will be fire performances by Controlled Burn ( a reno fire troop ) and Shiva Vista ( a reno fire based theme camp ). There will be $49 rooms available at GSR for my friends and all burners. There will be designated mutant vehicle parking in the lot.
Reno Passport is producing the first annual Pre Playa Music Festival, featuring performances by the critically acclaimed Reno-based Controlled Burn and Dragonfly Aerials. Crisis - Reno-based hard house break beat specialist who's adored for his vibe, mix instincts and originally produced music. Crisis has built a awesome rep for showcasing seamless mixes and precise scratching skills.
Nona - Reno-based break beats, drum and bass urbanology, and high nrg bpm's make Nona a fast-rising local with an incredible reputation for hardhouse and scratching.
Jen Woolfe - A Favorite in the Seattle scene, Jen Woolfe began to play for local clubs in early 2003. Jen shows her alt rock roots by fusing dance, rock and nu skool breaks and tinting her style with elegant Electro.
Robb Green – SF mixmaster DJ Robb Green fuses electro with House for a red hot sonic cocktail that moves masses and asses.
