Pop Pop, Fizz Fizz

We get free soda pop at work. I’m not a fan. It’s too dangerous. I have enough vices. I’m pretty good about only drinking 1 or 2 pop’s a week. But when it’s free like that!! Good thing they don’t stock Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pibb. I doubt I will ask them to or I'll never be hydrated again. They do have these yummy ‘water’ drinks, though. Talking Rain. I’m getting addicted.

Thing is, I’m totally stumped. The label says there is 0% fat, 0% sodium, 0% protein, 0% Calories and 0% carbohydrates. It only contains Spring Water, Carbonation, and ‘Essences from Natural Fruit Oils and Extracts’. So how does it create the berry flavor? And why does it taste sweet? I can only assume it is created from the ‘Essences from Natural Fruit Oils’. I can’t find any information about the ‘Essences’ from their FAQ. So I emailed them the question. I’ll let you know what they say.

The Berry is my favorite. It is Berry good.
We used to have Tangerine, but not anymore.
The Lemon Lime tastes like pine needles.
Every once in a while I’ll have a Cherry Coke.
Vanilla Coke has it’s own web site, but Cherry Coke does not.
In fact, www.cherrycoke.com is a redirect to www.vanillacoke.com. What’s up with that?
I wonder if Cherry Coke and Vanilla Coke are also made of ‘Essences from Natural Fruit Oils?’
