A Little, boy, Crazy!

Yesterday, when I returned to a house filled with 4 empty kegs, bottles stacked Sarah Cynthia Silvia Stout-style in our back foyer, garbage bags torn from PVC piping and a head-less Jason sitting in the rocking chair in our smoking garage, I heard my kitty meowing loudly from the neighbor's hard. He was hiding underneath their house, scared to jump over the fence and witness 400 people crunched into various corners of the Leschi Lounge. That's how I felt, too, after our Groovin' Ghoules V Halloween party.... Here's why -- a clip from the Evite that shows how many people ended up on our guest list:

Yikes!.... I'm still a little in shock right now, and like Willow , all I can do in the aftermath is clean. Until some pictures come in (If you have some, please send to jen woolfe at gmail), I'll talk a little about our trip to San Francisco in Sept. Enjoy.

O and P.S.! Halloween in my favorite birthday! Happy Birthday to my Blog who is now 1 year old!! http://www.jenwoolfe.com/2004_10_01_jenwoolfe_archive.html

A Little Boy Crazy

During my SF trip last month, I had the fortune of spending a few crazy nights with Sokolicky's sis and her grrl friends, all in town from Prague. They were in SF for Sus's wedding, but for these girls, every night out on the town is a bacheloretty party.

Sokojuju and the Eurogrrls love boys. They also love traveling, fine dining, dancing, and drinking. They love each other, they love J-dub and Sokolicky, but mostly, they love boys. All kinds of boys. Tall, skinny, black yellow green. As long as they are fun . Or drunk.

The scheme is simple. First, a slice of the city . Then, a little rest and a lovely dinner followed by cocktails. Very soon, they spot some tasty treats, do some voodoo magic and voila! The boys are soon devising a plan to charm the pants off them.
'I know', they say, 'more drinks!' Little do they know they are under the Eurogrrls spell and the rest of the night is out of their hands!
The boys never know where the Eurogrrls will take them.
'Follow me', says Sokojuju.
Sometimes they go to a bar. Sometimes to a house party. Sometimes to an undisclosed location.
Every once in a while, the Eurogrrls are tricked! This time, it was a supposed house party, with quote, 'Everything you want.'
'Will there be dancing?' asks Nicola.
'Will there be drinks?' Asks Sokojuju.
'Will there be Men?' asks Kristina.
'Will we be treated like Rockstars?' asks J-dub.

'Yes,' they say.

But the Eurogirls were tricked! No dancing, no Rockstar treatment, no men ... and no party. We think those boys had cheerleader envy. So we did what any Eurogrrl would do. We drank their booze and left for a more exciting destination. So screw you.

The next day, the girls start fresh. A little rest, un caffè, and Voila! good as new. More sites of the city, dinner with friends only this time with cookies! Then off to the bars.

'Stop me before I hit on the cabbie.' says Kristina.
Nicola is behind the cabbie, much easier access.
But Sokojuju is in the front. Where are her hands??
The cabbie, drunk with love.
More boys and debauchery and a little taste of Americano.
'The bay is lovely, girls, but to find boys that really know how to party, come to Prague!'
