Madame Peabody’s Dancing Academy for Young Ladies

While I can't remember what I did on Friday, I do remember that Saturday was an absolute blast. I DJ'd at a 'welcome home' party for my friend Kristi, who spent 2 months in Greece, that lucky bitch. We held the party, once again, at our favorite (muff) dive bar in Seattle, the Double Header. We love the D.H. Not only for it's whitty (baseball) name and it's $3 Alaskan Amber's, but for it's history and it's locals (and the fact that you can rent it out for nothin'). And even though we may only have a few dozen people there for what we've begun to call 'Boobs and Beers', we're always bringing the vibe. Here is a synopsis of how the evening went, thanks especially to photos by Masil Q.

Schoolin' Star and Momo on audio. Is there a female to female plugin?
Already the locals are giggin'.
Holla to all y'all, get on the dance
floor.
Ask and ye

My mom'll like this

Getting some Home Cookin' - one of my current fav
records.
A Rising
Star.
Masil flashes her burning man smile a year
early.
Mudd says, 'No really, I saw it myself. Sokolicky came straight outta
space'.
You can always spot the aliens by their
tails.
Should'n't you be getting me a
beer?
Twisted
sista's.
'Is the camera fuzzy or are we
drunk?'
Liz, the founder of Boobs and Beers.
'Git on down,
sista.'
Wade, Jenny and friends show
support.
Brad enjoys the D.H.
vibe.
The Fish is one hot water
mammal!
The Orphans and the locals, gettin'
down.
The Orphans and the locals, gettin' it
up!
Ah, another
alien!
Uh huh, that's
right.
Hei and Dry (yea,
sure).
The locals really do love us. Maybe too
much.
The artist at
work.
My new favorite
DJ photo, thanks Masil!!
After another night of fun, the dj
